What makes our csa different?

eat local + support refugee farmers

Community Supported Agriculture is a way to build a relationship with a farmer, to be closely tied to the seasons, and to make a firm commitment to eating locally.

At Transplanting Traditions, a CSA is also a way to invest in local refugee farmers who are recreating home here in the Triangle. As a nonprofit, TTCF supports farmers with land access, agricultural education, and marketing for their independently owned, for-profit farm businesses. Farmers share things like infrastructure repair costs, produce delivery and agricultural knowledge, while staff supports with overcoming barriers associated with running a business, such as language support and digital marketing.

100% of produce and flowers are grown organically without pesticides. Produce is picked the day before or day of pick-up, and if stored correctly can last up to 2 weeks in your fridge at home. By buying into the TTCF CSA you are supporting refugee owned farm businesses and bringing the highest quality fresh produce into your home.

Thank you for your support.
